Pediatric Clinic

Children have unique healthcare needs. At Forthall MH, our pediatrician keenly understands this. We bring all experience, training and technological resources together on behalf of children. Our pediatricians provide an exceptional level of care based on coordination with between pediatricians and specialists such as pediatric surgeons, nephrologists, endocrinologists and others.

Pharmacy

We confidently provide you with quality products at a fair price and a variety of products as well as helpful customer service. Our pharmacy staff are caring professionals who give you a personal service and are readily available with answers and information regarding your medication queries.

Imaging & Radiology

Our Radiology and Imaging section provides a full spectrum of state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging services in a caring and comfortable environment. Our center provides service in open and high field MRI, CT, PET/CT, digital mammography, bone density, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, fluoroscopy and digital X-ray.

Out-Patient Services

At Forthall our Outpatient unit providers are all Board Certified and specifically trained and skilled in comprehensive first contact and continuing care for all with an undiagnosed sign, symptom, or health concern. Together, with the patient, they promote effective communication and encourage the patient to play an active role as a partner in health care.

Our services include but are not limited to:

Family Planning

At Forthall MH we offer family planning services where we enhance the ability of individuals and couples to anticipate and attain their desired number of children and the spacing and timing of their births. This can be achieved through natural family planning, the use of contraceptive methods and the treatment of involuntary infertility.

Diabetic Clinic

We are committed to helping you learn the skills necessary to manage your pre-diabetes or diabetes diagnosis and avoid complications. Our team consists of a nationally-certified diabetes educator who has expertise & knowledge in nutrition and nursing.

Whether you are newly diagnosed or have had diabetes for years, we work with your doctor to design a management plan just for you. We offer comprehensive diabetes training for people with diabetes along with their family members and caregivers.

Training topics include:

  • Diabetes self-management classes, including topics on exercise, medications, monitoring, sick day management, travel, health promotion, acute and chronic complications, cardiac nutrition and meal planning.
  • Diabetes management during pregnancy
  • Insulin management including insulin pump therapy
  • Nutritional counseling
  • Blood glucose monitoring and continuous glucose monitoring
  • Diabetes community education programs
  • Adult Diabetes Support Group which provides education and support
